3。75 stars！ Tory and Darcy Vega have both been humiliated by the Celestial Heirs。 Despite claiming they have no intentions to take their birth right claim to the throne， Max， Caleb， Seth and Darius don’t believe them。 Tory and Darcy are also hell bent on revenge and make the Heirs feel exactly how humiliated they felt。 So after the first book， I wasn’t 100% sure whether I was going to continue the series as I wasn’t addicted to the series like I have been with others。 Usually I feel compelled to 3。75 stars！ Tory and Darcy Vega have both been humiliated by the Celestial Heirs。 Despite claiming they have no intentions to take their birth right claim to the throne， Max， Caleb， Seth and Darius don’t believe them。 Tory and Darcy are also hell bent on revenge and make the Heirs feel exactly how humiliated they felt。 So after the first book， I wasn’t 100% sure whether I was going to continue the series as I wasn’t addicted to the series like I have been with others。 Usually I feel compelled to just want to keep reading。 However， I’m glad I did continue as I did enjoy the second much more and now I do need to get my hands on the next copy！ I still have some unanswered questions from the first book but because it’s a series I will let it slide but whenever I felt I might be getting some answers， the storyline took a turn and I was left with more questions to be answered。 There were still some questions answered however and due to the length of the series， this is understandable as giving away all the answers too soon will just make readers want to stop reading！ This book also focused a lot more on the relationships between the Celestial Heirs and the Vega twins！ Darcy didn’t have as much to do with them as Tory as she’s lusting after the moody Professor Orion （that underwater scene！！） but the moments she did have were mostly fuelled by her revenge for what happened to her and her sister。 Tory seems to be heading towards a love triangle and as much I do like Caleb， I need her to go with Darius。 Since this book had more character perspectives from the Heirs and Orion， I felt more sympathetic towards the heirs and the pressure they faced （although that doesn’t excuse their actions）。 Darius’ situation with Orion and his father made him more redeemable in my eyes and I feel like a redemption arc might be on the cards for him。 At the end of the book as well， the heirs are starting to see just how powerful the Vega twins are and the threat that they pose has become very real and very fast so I’m excited to see what this means for the twins in the next book！ The Nymphs are definitely going to push the twins and the Heirs to work with one another rather than against each other as the threat they also pose is much more prominent after the events at the end of this book！ So a lot to look forward to in the next book and I cannot wait！ 。。。more

I'm still crying。 That dagger is definitely trouble though， she should definitely get rid of it。 （hide spoiler）] Everyone knows， karma's a bitch。 And today her name was Tory Vega。 Her interactions with all of the Heirs are the absolute best， especially with Darius。 I love them so much， the slow-burn romance between them is killing me！！ It better be romance by the way because I've never shipped two characters harder in my life They better end up together because I will freak。 I feel like they'll be star crossed lovers， but I'm not ready for my heart to break like that。 Darius is kinda protective of her， （view spoiler）[ and I loved the way he - kinda - stood up for her against his dad。 （hide spoiler）] I need more of those scenes， and I honestly need more of him。 I do definitely understand him better now that I've read from his point of view， （view spoiler）[ and I feel so bad for Xavier being a Pegasus and getting so much hate from his father :（ Poor thing。 （hide spoiler）] Lionel is DEFINITELY the bad guy in this story;
